Myth & Magery

Explore the boundless frontiers of the magical land of Faercana in this action/adventure/rpg-lite, inspired by our old favourites. Still in very early development, but it's playable. The demo will only be available for a limited time, so get your mits on it before it goes away!

Controls (keyboard)
Arrow keys - move
Z - interact (pickup, talk, confirm, etc.)/equip
X - main attack/cancel
S - sub weapon (usually a magic wand)/craft
A - use item (make sure to equip it first!)/drop
Enter - start/confirm/inventory
Esc - pause/quit (from Inventory screen)
Square brackets - cycle spells/menu pages

Tips and Tricks

• NPCs are your friends! Don't bring your fists to a spear fight - it won't end well for you.
• Keep talking to NPCs! They'll offer you a (crap, broken) quest at first, then they'll give you more helpful info about the game.
• The early game is unbalanced and confusing, but if you can sell enough junk to get even a wooden sword, life will be much easier for you.
• Cored wands are simple to craft from plentiful resources and make a good saleable to build that bank early.

Note: the game currently uses AI-generated music as placeholders! These will be replaced with artist-authored tracks before full release.
